Drydocks World forms new partnership with Adriatic42

Drydocks World has announced a new partnership with Adriatic42, supporting the modernisation of the former shipyard in Bijela. This will see it transformed into a premium port for the overhaul and maintenance of superyachts.

Part of the project includes a 180-meter-long floating dock which has a 10,000-tonne lifting capacity. This will allow the shipyard to accommodate the world’s largest yachts. Additionally, a 720 tonne capacity travel lift has been procured for the shipyard, which will add to the quality of service provided to future clients.

Capt. Rado Antolovic met with the Montenegrin Prime Minster, Dritan Abazović, where he presented the project plan for the shipyard which will change the economic and touristic situation in Montenegro. Additionally, it was discussed that local Montenegrins were employed in the project, in a bid to encourage local experts to support in the development of their country’s infrastructure.
